ABOUT lucy
bringing people together with music
Atlanta native Lucy Bright is thrilled to hit the ground running. With key musical influences including Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande, and Bruno Mars, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist encapsulates youthful, soulful, and energetic storytelling. At 5 years old, Lucy took to the school stage performing as Glinda from Wicked and Sad Clown from Circus Circus. After venturing into dance, she added Orchestra to her roster. Inspired by a morning car ride to 4th grade with I Was Made To Love Her blasting on her dad's car speakers, Lucy selected Double Bass as her instrument. Continuing to perform in drama camps, jazz band, and general hogging of microphones, she added acoustic guitar to her repertoire and rediscovered music as a safe space. Lucy flocked towards her musical education in high school. Music Theory provoked her to improve her musical literacy and learn piano. Songwriting since age 8, she honed her craft and began at Emory University as a Vocal Performance Major. During college she joined Aural Pleasure, where she met George Wu, producer of her debut singles. Featured on The Recording Academy’s Grammy U November Playlist, Twisted Footsteps debuted with over 10,000 streams within the month. In Summer of 2024, Lucy recorded her debut studio album at Tree Sound Studios and is ecstatic to share her music with the world.
